  I had an amazing experience with Melanie. After having a "not so great introduction to the breastfeeding world' and being told I had a 'problem' because my baby did not latch right away during my hospital stay, I was beyond frustrated. I had been informed of Healthy Babies, Happy Mom's, so I gave them a call. Melanie came right out to the house, which was so helpful because I was a new mom and the thought of leaving my house was not something I was willing to do or try with a 4 day old. She was patient and understanding and very accepting of what my goals were with my new baby. She did an awesome job explaining things in a way I could understand and demonstrating how to realistically breastfeed a baby. I am happy to say we are 9 weeks in and breastfeeding, without a shield I might add, like a champ. She was my saving grace, especially when I felt like there was something wrong with me. Thank you, Melanie, for all that you do :) Jackson and I appreciate you so much! Christina & Jackson Thibault
